We are a small mountain farm rooted in good animals, useful skills, honest work, and the kind of days that begin with chores and end with work well done.

Our herd is at the heart of the farm. We value healthy, well-loved animals with strong temperaments, practical purpose, and plenty of personality. We believe good stock should be handled with care, raised with respect, and matched thoughtfully to future homes.

Our flock of mixed chickens brings daily character and a steady rhythm to the farm, while our vegetable and herb gardens keep us connected to the seasons and the simple reward of growing good food close to home.

Alongside the herd, flock, and gardens, we share pieces of farm life: seasonal work, lessons learned, member gatherings, and the ongoing adventure of building something real.

The Tart Farm is small by design. We believe smaller scale allows closer attention, stronger relationships, and better stewardship of both animals and land.
